Pressure Standards
Deadweight testers are technical devices that reproduce the physical unit of pressure, the Pascal. The reproduction and transfer of the pressure unit is based on the fundamental formula relating mass, length and time, and is defined (in short) as p = F/A.
Automatic reproduction and transfer of the pressure unit is based on the know-how of Desgranges & Huot and guarantees the best metrological performance on the market.

The CPB8000 was developed to meet the highest metrological requirements, while also fulfilling the demands of production processes. A high mean time between failures and an outstanding pressure generation system also make the CPB8000 suitable for calibration, verification and testing of measuring instruments in large volumes.
Automation and Metrology
A pressure generation volume driven by a servomotor combined with a built-in optical position sensor of the measuring piston-cylinder system allows pressure adjustment with the required accuracy. The weight set, enclosed in a cabinet, ensures high repeatability and stability. The final pressure value is corrected taking into account external influencing factors.
